Question about Pioneer DEH-P4700MP CD Player
The wires coming from the radio should be this: Yellow = 12v constant Red = Ignition Black = Ground White = (Left?) Front + White w/black stripe = (Left?) Front - Gray = (Right?) Front + Gray w/black stripe = (Right?) Front - Green = (Left?) Rear + Green w/black stripe = (Left?) Rear - Purple = (Right?) Rear + Purple w/black stripe = (Right?) Rear - Orange = Illumination (DO NOT ATTACH THIS WIRE) Blue = Power Antenna (only attach if you have a power antenna) As for going to the chevy, the wires vary by the specific vehicle & I wouldn't want to guess. Also note that if it has a factory amplifier, it'll be a bit harder. I suggest he gets a wiring kit from Circuit City. It's about $15 or so, but well worth it.
