This is because of the why bits and bytes are stored. 1 gigabyte is 1,073,741,824 bytes in reality. so 1.88Gb 2,018,634,629 bytes whcih for advertising purposes is 2 gigabytes. So you will generally always see this disparity because computers read bytes where 1 kb = 1024 bytes, and advertisers use 1kb = 1000 bytes. But don't worry you really did get 2 billion bytes it's just a little marketing sleight of hand :)
