Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
It tries to spin but of course it has water in it and it just makes a noise.
Is this a whirlpool, kitchenaid, kenmore? If it is any of these you probably have a broken drive coupler. Tip the washer back and lean against the wall. DO NOT TIP ALL THE WAY OVER! It will missalign the tub. So you have to take the pump off next the motor. you will see clips just push them up and the bottom one down I use a flat screw driver. you will need to take the 1/4" socket and remove the screws on the motor beforre you can take the clips off. Remember ONLY DO THIS WITH THE POWER TURNED OFF. Ok. So now you can drop the motor you will see the drive coupler the part number is 285753a
