Question about Panasonic TC-26LX60 26 in. LCD Television
I tried turning on my T.V. with the remote. The screen did not power up, and it remained the same black as if it were off (not the AV black screen). Instead, the small red light labeled "POWER" in the bottom left hand corner of the unit blinked on and off. I tried pushing the power button on the top of the unit, but nothing. So I unplugged it from it's power source and plugged it back in. Still I was met with the same problem.
With just those set of symptoms - and nothing more - my first guess is that the power supply (PS) board has a problem. It is possible to replace the entire board, but it is also possible that the board could be repaired. The PS is not an inexpensive item so my best advice would be to have a professional look at it and estimate the problem. Then discuss the options repair/replace... Bill
