If you can't give me a simple answer to this simple question "what is the power rating of the power adapter to my Astra2000P /scanner?" Then you are no help to me. Do you want the scanner back?

Take me off your FixYa, which is no help, and then answer my simple question which is 'WHAT IS THE POWER ADAPTER RATING FOR YOUR 2000P SCANNER/'

I moved to a different location and somehow smiplaced and/or lost the
original power adapter. I have several power adapters with output from
3/ to 12v. I just need to know the power input of the original power
adapter to prevent any damage to equipment. I will appreciate knowing
    that info.

I lost the power cord of my Astra 2200. Can I use any input 12v cord?

I tried to find some information for you on this product but came up virtually empty handed.

I know this, it's a 12 volt power adapter.

You really should have more information than this to match up a power adapter, or you could burn out the unit.

My suggestion would be to take the entire unit into radioshack, and have them match it up for you, they have a universal power adapter system, very usefull.

Hopefully umax put the information on what power adapter is neccessary on the plastic housing next to the power adapter port, some companies do this.

Where do I get a new power cord for the HP 3970 which has been in storage for a while, but I want to begin using it agains, and can't locate the power cord. HP has discontinued this model and nothing on...

The correct part number for just the "brick style" power module (AC Adapter) for an HP Scanjet 3970 is L1970-80003. It is a specific 12V DC 2 Amp module. Today it can be purchased for $18.06 plus shipping from the HP Parts Store. However, if you are looking for just the power cord to your scanner's AC adapter, this brick style power module AC adapter does require a separate standard C13 detachable power cord to the specifications of your area, for instance, in the USA the power cord to connect the scanner to the power module AC adapter is part number 8120-6260, and it is a common power cord for monitors and computers. I learned all this because I had a scanner error message when I tried to use a different power module on the HP Scanjet 3970 when I lost the power cord to the original module. I hope this info helps somebody else, too.

What power supply is needed for hp scanjet 2400

It is depends on your scanner power adapter and where u purchase the scanner from. Here if your scanner is from US then the adapter power input should be 100-120V 60Hz AC, if your scanner is from Euro, UK or Australia, the it should be 200-240V 50Hz AC, while if your scanner is from others place that not listed above then it should be 100-240V 50-60Hz AC.
But the best way is look at your adapter itself, u'll notice the power input and output from the adapter sticker.

If you lost your adapter then be sure to purchase 1 that can output a 12 VDC, 340mA, 4.22W adapter to the scanner.

Epson V100 flatbed scanner power cord

There's a shop in the UK or Sweden called Clas Olsen that sell a range of multi headed adapters, you have a pack that has the usual ones you see and they have a pack for other adapter heads and one of them fits the V100. How do i know? Cos I bought one for my scanner but it will set you back by £25.

The second cable is the Power Supply Adapter cable. The information listed on the Power Supply Adapter is listed below. P/N 490081-03 Input 120 Volt @ 60 Hz 0.3 amps Output DC 12 Volts @ 1 Amp Model # RWP481212 You should be able to get the scanner to work as long as you can find any power supply that has the listed Input/Output ratings, an adapter that will plug into the scanner. New Power Cord Stopped Working

DO NOT use the HP power adapter that is 19V / 3.95A. That is too much power for the Scanjet, which is expecting 12V DC (and a much lower amperage). It's possible that hooking up this power adapter may further damage the electronics inside the scanner. If the second adapter has stopped working then it is possible that the internal circuit board has damage already and another adapter may not work. If you have access to a multimeter / voltmeter you could check for the 12V coming from the adapter. If you're getting the 12V, then the internal circuit board to the Scanjet is probably defective.
