Well I know for sure the default pin for the M1 is indeed 0000. However I
cannot tell you what the pin would be for your specific bluetooth
dongle. If I where you I would try 0000, 1111, 2222 and so on
As with all Bluetooth headsets,
the H700 needs to be paired with the device before it can be used, which
is done in pairing mode. In pairing mode, the H700 makes a transmission
so that Bluetooth-enabled devices can pick up the device and connect to
the headset. Once connected, no other device can connect with the
Bluetooth headset. To enter pairing mode on the H700, open the headset
boom located near the microphone. After a few seconds the indicator
light will turn purple. Once purple, the H700 is in pairing mode.
Searching for the Device With the M1
Once the H700 is in pairing
mode, have the M1 search for Bluetooth devices. To do this, press
"MENU/OK" and choose "Tools," "Bluetooth," "Add New" and "Search." A
list of Bluetooth devices will show up on the screen. Highlight
"Motorola H700" and press "MENU/OK." Choose "Add to Trusted," enter
"0000" and press "MENU/OK." The devices are now connected and ready to
Testing the Devices
Once the devices are connected,
test that both the phone and the headset are working properly together.
First, place the headset in your ear. Dial a number on the phone and
press "Send." If you can hear ringing, the devices are connected
properly and ready for use.
If the connection was not successful, repeat the previous steps and
try again. Make sure the indicator light is glowing purple and is
steady. If you have connected the headset to a previous device, make
sure that device is turned off so as not to interfere with the
connection procedure. Once the other device is off, close and reopen the
boom to enter pairing mode.
Hi, Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset is a basic Blutooth headset that can be synced, or paired, with any Bluetooth-capable cell phone. Something unique about this phone is its retractable microphone, otherwise known as the headset's "boom." You can send and receive phone calls hands-free and wirelessly with your contacts using your H700 headset, in one touch of a button.
Press and hold the "Call" button on the headset for four to five seconds until the LED light glows purple.
Flip open the headset "boom."
Set your phone into "discovery" or "pairing" mode. Open the Bluetooth settings or options on your phone and choose to add a new device.
Select the "H700" on the phone when it finishes searching for Bluetooth devices.
Enter the passkey for the headset, which is "0000," to finish syncing the headset with your phone.
hi sammieyoungj. i'm sorry to hear about your troubles with your headset. Maybe this will help your situation. Ensure the headset is fully charged. Then turn on the bluetooth feature (discoverable mode/set to look for bluetooth devices) on the phone you are planning to pair it with. Next, turn off the headset by closing the microphone boom. After about 8 to 10 seconds or you know the headset is off, press and hold the call button for about 4 to 5 seconds. The headset should activate and show a steady purplish colored light. When the light turns purple, unfold the microphone boom. If the lights stay a steady purple color, then the headset should be in pairing mode and you can revert to your phone to pair them together.
If the light does not stay steady, or turns a blue color, repeat the steps above, making sure no bluetooth devices are around that it may have paired with previously. Hope that helps. Best of luck.
Hi, Here is a detailed solution on how to pair your H700 headset with your phone;
STEP 1 You have to firstly put off the headset,by holding the call control button, which is the button on the face of the bluetooth, until the blue light turns red,as soon as the blue light turns red release the button.
STEP 2After putting off the headset, wait for like 5 secs to ensure its completely off.when the device is off,you can now press and hold on the call control button for 5secs if its the first initial pairing,if it's not, then you have to hold on the call control button for 8seconds,afterwards the light should flash red then blue in both cases STEP 3. At this point in time your headset is in discovery mode, and you have 60 seconds to pair it with your phone which should also be in the pairing mode as well. To put your phone in the pairing mode, you have to put on the bluetooth of the phone which is found under the connectivity settings in the menu.
Your h700 headset and your phone are matched up and your problem is solved.
It could as easy as updating your phone by dailing *228 with a Verizon phone, select option 2 then press ok when the update is complete. When the phone resets, turn on the bluetooth headset, a prompt on the phone should come up to enter the passkey which should be 0000

The term "service" refers to other types of services supported by bluetooth technology like keyboards, mice, etc. There's a lot more than just headsets now.
I suggest checking the bluetooth options on your phone to see if there is a refresh service or other option....there is one like that on my blackberry that I once had to use to solve a similar issue.
Have you tried disabling bluetooth, rebooting phone, enabling bluetooth, and rebooting phone before pairing?
Also, look to see if there is an encryption on/off option on the phone...this could be causing an echo in either state due to interference...try switching encryption on/off.
Also, check your update options on the phone, you didn't say which kind of phone it is but some can get firmware updates that may be needed for bluetooth to work well.
Finally, you may get results by deleting the device on the phone and re-adding it thru discovery.
