I deleted my audio by accident

Mp3 players and other multimedia play devices, once you format the device, you have to re download the device drivers for it from the manufacturers website, and follow any instructions they might have.

If you have only deleted the music (not) formatted it, you can just put the same music back onto it by finding where the music files are on your computer and sending them to your device. This is a very easy process and nothing is lost as long as you have saved the music files onto your computer.

Most people save their music files onto the music file folders or in the C: drive of their PC. If you have a media player: Windows Media player, they might be on there.

Downgraded from Windows Vista Home to Windows XP, no sound.

Go Here courtesy of Acer Support:

Then Choose Desktop, Aspire, M1100.

From this point choose Windows XP Home Edition. There will be two audio drivers. One says Realtek and the other says Foxconn.

Choose to download Realtek and save the file to the desktop if you can. Then after its done downloading, you can double-click on the file and install it and see if windows picks up on it.

If for some reason it doesn't, then download the foxconn and install that one. I remember that most of the Aspire's had a realtek sound driver chipset.

It should take to one of them regardless.

Lost The setup cd....

Which soundcard do you have? The speakers themselves do not appear to have an associated driver. Here is the link to the support page for the speaker set if you want to check yourself; Post back your soundcard details and we can try and help. If you post also your location it is a lot easier and quicker to find the correct software. If you need help identifying which soundcard you have then please ask again. Awaiting your info :)
