LG oven stuck in demo mode

I purchased a LG oven model LB651078 from a store closing down. The lights and fan work but there is no heat. I have been told it will most likely be in demo mode as it was a display model. Anyone know how to get it out of demo mode?

I cant see any other numbers on the oven but the oven is from Australia and the manual is on their Australian website.

Unfortunately there is no information in the manual on how to get it out of demo mode. I did try calling LG but they have not got back to me yet so I was hopingsomeone out there might know the answer as I am eager to try my new oven.

Could not find that model on there web site for the manual. You might want to call them at.
1-800-944-2904

Or give me the other #s on the oven.

SOURCE: Demo Mode

press and hold the mode button for more than five seconds. Then use the knob to scroll to "Default". This sets the stove to normal operation.

To Start Demo Mode

Select the Tools keypad.
Scroll and select INFO.
Select Store Demo Mode and select ON. NOTE: The display screen will show the time
Select the Tools keypad.
Select Try the Product or View Product Videos.

To Exit Demo Mode:

Select Try the Product.
Scroll and select Explore.
Select the Tools keypad.
Scroll and select INFO.
Select Store Demo Mode and select OFF.
Select YES on the confirmation screen.

How to get a westinghouse POR667 oven off demo mode.

DEMO Mode
The oven can be set to operate in a demo (eg in a retail
store) mode. In this mode the oven does not actually heat
If the oven has been inadvertently supplied in this mode.
The following instructions demonstrate how to exit this mode.
1. Ensure the oven is in the off state. Press and hold the +
button until a beep sounds. The 'Demo' text will begin
to flash.
2. While holding the + button turn the function selector to
the first oven function until another beep is heard.
3. Then turn the function selector to the 'off' position.
4. Release the + button.
5. Toggle and hold the temperature selector to the right (+)
until 3 beeps sound.
The 'Demo' text will no longer be lit and the oven will
function normally. If the 'Demo' test is still present then
repeat the above procedure.

You should check your machine is not in DEMO mode...

Demo Mode
Activate to practice using the control without actually turning on
the magnetron. Touch and hold number pad "3" for 3 seconds. The
"DEMO" icon will appear in the display. Repeat to exit Demo Mode

Fridgidaire Wall Oven will not heat

1) If there is a reset on the electronic panel try that.
2) Set the temperature to 200 and see if works then.
3) Put a baking tin in the oven with a piece of meat in it.
4) Uninstall the Wall Oven and take the back off and check the wiring for the elements and the convection fan.

Microwave won't heat up while in use

It sounds like the unit is in demo mode, they usually have a small d on the screen, try holding the "kitchen timer" pad down for 5 seconds, it should then work, if that doesnt apply to your model look in the trouble shooting guide of your owners manual, it will explain how to deactivate "demo" mode there...Phil
