    Hi Rosie, I use Norton 360 myself. What type of Norton product are you trying to use? Do you have the disk? Where are you located? I'm just looking at your number and I would be willing to help you if you can provide further information. Thanks. Andrew

I do have an automatically renewable subscription to Norton.This was confirmed in a letter to me, as of June 12, 2011. In spite of this, I find my Norton services have disappeared without any notice !!! ....


If the software for Norton Symantec has disappeared, then you need to go to their website on the itnernet and reinstall it. If the software is still on your pc, but Norton anti virus isn't working - then thats a different issue.

You said you have a letter from Norton about your services right? Is it an email? If so, find the website address on the email and go to it. Then click on help and contact Nortons customer service department to tell them that you are a subscriber and your services have disappeared. They will have you verify your account info or your subscription from that letter, and then they will send you a link via email or provide you with the web address of a website to go to and download the software and activate your subscription to turn the services back on.

I didn't get my 1 year protection of norton 360 version 4.0 for my netbook,,,instead i just get the 30 days trial protection,,, how can i get my 1 year norton??


You need to activate your Norton program with the product key or the renewal code that you purchased for an year.

To enter the renewal code or the serial, please open your Norton product and click on the "RENEW" or "ACTIVATE" or "SUBSCRIBE" button on the bottom of your product and enter it there to activate your one year subscription.

I paid for it and have a product key. Norton says it is invalid.


If you have been charged for a Norton Automatic Renewal and your Norton product shows expired :
When Norton Automatic Renewal service extends the subscription to your Norton product, it is intended to automatically synchronize your subscription to the updated expiration date. Sometimes, due to connectivity issues, your Norton product may not be able to properly synchronize your new subscription. To resolve this issue, we recommend that you synchronize your computer with the Norton servers.
If you have a Norton 2009 product:
To fix the subscription status
1. Start your Norton product.
2. At the top right corner of the window, click Help & Support > Subscription Status.
3. Click Finish.

If your Product Key that you have typed is incorrect. Please follow these instructions to enter the correct Product Key.
If you are reinstalling Norton 2009, log on to your Norton Account to access your Product Key.
1. Log on to your Norton Account by going to the following Web page:
http://www.MyNortonAccount.com
2. Type your email address and password. 3. Click Sign In. 4. Under Registered Products, select your Norton product. 5. Write down the Product Key.
Type your product key again, exactly as it appears on the back of the CD envelope, or in the confirmation email from Symantec for your download purchase.

I renewed my subscription. I was sent a key code. I typed in the Key Code and I get a window that says the code is invalid. I did thjis several times, typing and cuttting and pasting....

My update last month has caused numerous message problems and doesn't seem to absorb that I did in fact update my subscription. HELP.


Well, when you renewed your subscription online, you just renewed it on the symantec end. So what you need to do next is open your Norton program, and go to "My Norton Account" or "subscription". Then you need to sign into your norton account from within the Norton Application and it will update your subscription status.

Email Norton and tell them your situation, they will tell you what to do to fix the problem seems like a problem that's more there doing than yours.

I subscribed online to Norton anti-virus but when I tried to download my product it said my subscription was due for renewal. I got an email thanking me for my purchase and with my product key number. When...


I believe this is a rip off world. You have to watch out. So go back to your emails
that confirm your payment. You have transaction ID for payment and the product key.
Save those on notepad. Uninstall your existing norton software fully and restart
your computer, then download what you purchased. Pressing down the Crtl key
when clicking the download icon helps when it is hard to download
