Question about Olympus VN-2100PC Digital Voice Recorder
I process dictation for Barristers. A client has contacted me asking for help saying he cannot rewind and overwrite dictation as he goes along. I am not familiar with this model.
Should he be able to do this?
And how can he do this?
Many thanks for any help you can give me.
Unfortunately with this device the VN-2100PC it is not possible to rewind and overwrite any dictations that were done. Each time the record button is pressed and then the stop button is pressed it will create a new file. They may want to look for a DS-2300 or a DS-2400 recorder as these devices have the ability to rewind and allow you to dictate over previously recorded information in the same file. There is a button on these devices called "New" that allows you to stay within the same file until you press New to start the next audio file.
