try rebooting the computer and as soon as it turns on tap on the "F8" key until a new boot menu appears, choose "safe mode" if the computer starts successfully in safe mode. restart it and allow to boot normally. If this fails comment back as to whether it started in safe mode or not and I will attempt to help you further,
Please restart in the safe mode once. And run a virus scan after that turn off your laptop and turn it on again now don't go into the safe mode just start the windows normally, enter your password and see if you face the same problem.
Have you tried starting in safe mode to see if it will boot that way? In case your not sure how turn the computer off then when off hit power on and just start pressing F8 over and over until you get the black screen asking about safe mode. You might hear some beeping while doing it dont worry about that. Choose start in safe mode with networking.Quick question is there any reason the lapshows the screen of windows starting vertically like that instead of the normal horizontal way from left to right? Just curious if you did that or thats new too.
The OS-loading screen is a stong indicator that thee is nothing wrog with your hardware, but it is a driver issue. You need to press F8 as your computer starts up and enter SAFE-MODE. Windows 7 Using the F8 Method:
Restart your computer.
When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options screen as shown in the image below.
Figure 11. Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options screen
Using the arrow keys, select the Safe Mode option you want.
Then press the enter key on your keyboard to boot into Windows 7 Safe Mode.
When Windows starts you will be at a typical logon screen. Logon to your computer and Windows 7 will enter Safe mode.
Do whatever tasks you require, and when you are done, reboot to go back into normal mode.
In safe-mode remove & delete the drivers you installed. If you can, revert to your old driver set.
Do you see the white cursor on the black background? If so, press CONTROL+ALT+DELETE keys. If the Task Manager window appears. You can start the PC from the CD/DVD and choose Startup Repair from the choices given.
what i can suggest you is to reformat/do a recovery..nothing else....dont waste your time..because you cant load in windows right? its commin only with blue screen...when you select safemode or etc..nothing happen...try with my suggestion..if you have some important files you can do a backup by removing the hdd and put into usb adaptor and plug in any computer that can do a backup....i hope you appreciate it
If Safe Mode doesnt work then you may have to do a "repair" of your O/S. Place your Windows XP CD into the CD-Rom drive, reboot and once you see the options if you want to Install or Repair - choose Repair. This option will make repair to your O/S and for safe mode. Once repair is complete do a complete Anti-Virus and Spyware scan of your Hard Drive. If you can boot into Safe Mode to run the ani-virus much better.
