Control panel flashing F02

Unless you live in a tent in Alaska a bird that size should pretty well thaw out in 3 days if left in a warmish invironment. Try a warm oven, lowest temp possible if still unfrozen after 3 days.

F02 = long drain

try this

If the drain time exceeds eight minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F02" is flashed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display.

NOTE: After four minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then four minutes later the "F02" error code will be displayed..

Possible Causes / Procedure

1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.

2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

3. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.

4. Check the drain pump filterfor foreign objects.

5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.

6. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.
7. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

8. Replace the pump.

Possible that the drain cycle is not active and so the program trips off. Check the drain for clogging , check the power to the drain from the controller during the cycle, if there is no power the program controller is faulty.

when you live in really cold climates it is important to run more antifreeze so the water does not freeze and blow out a freeze plug. i live in california where its always warm so i run a 50/50. i would imagine alaska gets pretty cold so i would probably run more antifreeze

F02 is a drain error in your Kenmore washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

f02 mean that the drain time is to long check the drain pump filter that is behind the lower front panel

F 09 is an incompatible eeprom. It sounds like the frozen episode introduced moisture on to your control board. You can try opeing the control panel area and use a hair dryer to possibly dry off the moisture. The damage may already have been done but you just might luck out. Good Luck Keith

most likley your water inlet valve is cloged and stuck open. you will need to replace the valve.
