When i start off the car is sluggish and when measure blocks are checked the ignition timing is approx 20 degrees AFTER top dead centre then approx 100 yards down the road the car jumps into life and the measure blocks read approx 15 - 25 degrees BEFORE top dead centre ( Normal ), crankshaft and camshaft sensor check ok, timing marks are spot on, any ideas???

crank shaft sen. is easy enough to change.its mounted near timing chain cover, cam sen.is somewhat harder, its in the distributor,id doubt that both are defect

you have pcm problems or ASD relay problems.they both control the fuel and ignition.

Maybe oil or coolant leaking on it shorting it out! Good Luck!!!!

the computer may need to be reflashed. if it is running then it is not a bad sensor. either of those being bad would cause it not to run.

I am having the exact same problem. Did you get it running

was thinking it may be an ECU problem, what in your terms is an ASD relay?? the ECU shows no faults, which is strange as normally it would log a fault if the car had a sensor issue etc??
