Re: 300gl

Start system then hit the F8 key and then select "Safe Mode"...if you can successfully get to safe mode, then there is a problem with the screen resolution being too large (video memory or monitor limits)...then restart in standard mode..any change?

Aadab: when the moniter ON after few second the moniter is does not give display and when we on and off the moniter so then the picture displayed why this problem is i recover it.

That is because the settings on the power are set for the monitor to go to sleep if not in use.. It is a very quick and easy fix.. Just right click anywhere on the desktop that doesn't have any icons, the display properties box will appear, then click on screen saver under monitor power click on power, there you could set the monitor never to turn off... Let me know if this solved the problem and good luck..

I have a compaq presario s3040se desktop the monitor quit

Try turning on the monitor before the Compaq system box, if Win is doing what it should, it will 'find' a 'new device' and reinstall the drivers for it. It may not look right but you can change the resolution after it boots up.

I have an eMachine that the moniter will not turn on. I run a virus scan. But cannot get the moniter the stay on. the power light is on, the screen is not working.

The first thing we need to do is figure out if the problem is the computer or the monitor.

Have you got another computer around, a laptop will work too.

Display quits

Your monitor needs to be serviced, I would take it to a local repair store or replace the monitor.

My comp does not show anything on the moniter??

If you have another monitor try it, if it works then you have a bad monitor. If a different monitor doesn't work in it then it could be the motherboard or CPU. If they are bad there is not test for that, the only real way to test them is to buy one piece at a time and see which one works. Also if your monitor has a power adapter check it. Sometimes those do die and not the monitor.

Check if the button of your monitor is stuck. You can try by hitting the button several times to loosen it.

Moniter dosent work

I have been fixing one for a customer. At first I thought that it was the typical burned out powersupply. Delta Electronics has created a replacement. The old REV 00 is 185 watts peak. The new REV01 is 185 nominal. Was the shaggy067 did not take the time to look up is that the 610 is an "All in one" modular monitor/case.
This customers is the first one that I have replace the power supply and it still does not work. I believe the flourescent backer of the LCD1.gif is shot. I will not know for sure until I find another one. The S-video works fine, so I am testing it using my projector. Everything works except the lcd panel.
check out for how to disassemble and replace the power supple. By the power supply from and not from the crooks on ebay1.gif. They are the only authorized rebuilders of the power supplies.
