Unplug the computer from power. Press the Power On button in, and hold it in for a count of 10 seconds. (1001,..1002,..1003,..) Let go. Do this 2 more times. If the Power On LED light blinks after the 3rd time, perform again until it doesn't. WAIT 20 seconds. Plug the computer back into power. WAIT 60 seconds, turn the computer on. What you are doing is clearing CMOS Error Codes, and resetting BIOS Setup back to the factory default settings.

Try to reset your computer BIOS - open your CPU, plug off the power, remove the battery in the motherboard then put it back after 20 seconds.
Plug the VGA cable to your CPU and connect it to your LCD TV. Try ro open your CPU, there should be display on BIOS bootup.
If the display goes out before windows startup, the resolution settings on your computer is not compatible with your LCD TV. If this occurs, hard reset your CPU then press F8 simultaneousely until new display appears, then select safemode. On windows safemode, adjust the resolution settings compatible with your LCD TV.

to access bios, press f1 immediately at boot, at 1 second intervals. you need to change the graphix adapter from "integrated agp" to "agp" or "pci", depending on your card. this should be under, "boot options>initial display device".

since you prolly have to do this with the integrated video hooked up (since it will be set to "internal vga" until changed) you are prolly up a creek without a paddle.

Laptop turns on no picture on screen.

when you power up the computer press F8 key then if you cna see safe mode and other menu then your computer is ok only screen resolution issue for that enter in enable vga mode.
then go to control panel and then dispaly then settings then changfe screen resolution to 1024*768
then if you can't see safe mode and other menu then you have reset your bios
For that you need to reset factory defaults settings for bios.
For reset bios u have to open back side of your laptop then u find motherbord circuit there.
pull cmos cell on motherbord for 15 minute then it reset to defaults.
Also u can reset with jumper settigns read carefully on mother bord there is 1 jumper near cmos cell u read there " bios reset or clear"
It is on 1-2 position right now set it in 2-3 position then power up then all bios settings are reset.
then again set it in 1-2 its original position.

Cannot get the option to enable VGA through using F8 at windows S

Sometimes after changing BIOS settings the computer will not start or will possibly give error messages similar to yours. I have at times had to remove the power source, remove the motherboard battery, and set the motherboard back to factory default settings. You also stated that you installed a new motherboard. That could also be a potential problem. If the computer has never started with the new motherboard, the new board may be defective.

M2N-SLI Motherboard issue.

Hi

If your computer was ok before you changed parameters in Bios then it is Bios fault:
Re inter Bios and Try to reset it to default.
If you can not get into Bios anymore  the problem is serious:
You must reflash Bios or reset Cmos ,and it could be vga or may be the wifi if you have one onboard.
see if you have a hardware store nearby and let someone fix it
if you .
It seems to be a common problem on all Asus Motherboards:
bios,vga,post etc...
