Question about Panasonic TH-50PX60U 50 in. Plasma HDTV
I have a fifty inch Panasonic plasma t.v,720p, and it is fairly new, just a few months old. I'm having a problem with the volume. What is happening is, I can turn the volume all the way up, but only a percentage of the output is coming out of it. There is a static sound coming from the t.v with the sound of the t.v. You can't hear the static until you turn it up past fifty. The higher you turn the t.v up, the more you can hear the static. Is it possible to have blown a speaker? Is there a setting, or a program to test the speakers?
I have a 50in plasma phillips has a volume problem sometimes you don't get sound and I go to another channel sometimes it works and when it doesn't i turn on my surround sound and never has failed me.I talked to a verizon service man and he has the same problem he thinks it is a issue with the cable boxes on the signal coming in that channel.I would suggest hook the TV up to your own speakers it will sound better.
