Normal storage function stores answers in decimal form all the time. For storage function after having decimal value on screen press SHIFT then RCL(with STO written on it) then press (-) (with red A written on it) (or press red B, C, D etc.). For recalling that value press RCL then press red letter you previosly stored with.

Sorry, but the fx-115ES can only display square roots in radical form. Cube roots are beyond its symbolic capabilities and will always be in decimal form.

The problem is that it is not storing in decimal form all the time. If I multiply 8 times .1. The answer shows as 4/5 not .8. Both anwers are right, but I don't want to see the fraction. I want to see the decimal without hitting the S to D key.
