You explained it good, the call cuts off at lights or when stopping. the first thing is the check engine light on, if it is or not have the computer scanned for any codes. there are auto part stores that will scan it for free. i have run into this problem , it may be just a dirty throttle body, it can be cleaned with a old tooth brush and some throttle body cleaner, as long as the engine is running smooth it may just be that. have the computer scanned and write me back if there are codes, make sure to list the codes, good day.

this car has two o2 sensors one up at the rear manifold and the other on the exhaust pipe after the converter
