Toshiba has the user manual as a zipped pdf in their archives. http://www.toshiba.co.uk/innovation/download_manuals.jsp?service=UK (use the drop down menus to select Archived files, Equium notebook, series A, A200). You will need to extract the file from the archive and then open it with Adobe Reader or a similar program.

Any SATA drive will fit up to the size limitations of your motherboard. A 1Gb is about the norm now. WD, Samsung, Hitachi etc all about the same.
A 7200 speed will give you a slightly faster seek and write time or go for an SSD drive. All are compatible if SATA 2.5" format.

The Toshiba Satellite A215-S7437 Notebook PC, is one of the Satellite A215 series of Notebook PC's. It is a fancier version of the A200 series.

Total is still 1.9GHz. It's just two processor cores teaming up on the same task.

first try to check if your toshiba is still part of the warranty. if this is good, much better to go to the service center and they will replace the battery pack of your laptop.

try this: remove your battery and plug directly to the main power w/out battery. second remove thebattery press and hold the power button for ten seconds and put the battery back and power on your laptop.

Here are two different spec sheets for the A200-1V0 & A200-196. Neither one lists a "built-in mic" but both support external mics via 3/8 jack. Also there's always the possibility of using a USB mic.

try to send a purchase bill to norton company, and ask for refund or a valid key to use. you can change to another antivirus suit. is less expensive. all antivirus companys is now give 2 years licence.

If you know the current password, use it to enter BIOS SETUP.
Then, type a "blank" ("space-bar") as the "new" password.

If you don't know the current password, you're stuck;
this is a "security" feature to prevent a stolen laptop from being used by the thief.

That could possible mean that your processor or memory is going bad. You may want to take it somewhere local for diagnostics then theyll be able to sell you what you need as well if its the memory.
