Need the manufacturer name, and model number of the Thermostat, Catherine. Sounds like you have a programmable thermostat. This is Not a Solution. I do not have Clarification option, nor Comment option available (Awaiting reason from Expert Support/FixYa), and am posting in a Post Solution option. After I get your information, I WILL post a solution. Post back in a Comment. (Hopefully it works on your side, lol!) Regards, joecoolvette

Will a Central Pheumatic framing nailer model # 98733... 21 degree use a 2 in nail? I seen in the instrustions only use 2-3/16 to 3-1/2. I have a lot of 2 in nail. Thanks John

As with all tools - following the instruction manual is for your safety as well as to not cause damage to your tools. Glad to see you read the manual - some do not and get hurt because of it. Please do as the manual instructs - it may keep you, as well as your tools, in good working order. Be safe. Hard to frame from a hospital bed.:-)!

Every time we put on the central heating our water runs cold

What kind of water heater do you have?
In any case, it sound like a plumber should check out system.

Do you have indirect heater that gets heat from central heating boiler?
Most indirect/boiler combo heaters have control that is set to heat the water first.
If water is not getting heated, then the control needs repair.

Do you have gas water heater with gas central heating?
The central heater may be drawing so much gas from meter, that other gas appliances are unable to function. larger gas meter or gas line may be needed.
Or if furnace and water heater vent on same chimney, the backflow from central heat could be affecting burner on water heater especially if water heater has electronic sensor that stop combustion if air quality is bad. Venting problems can lead to CO poisoning, and are a serious matter.

20 year old central a/c heater not working

Check your thermostat and mode selector setting, thermostat setting should be set at warmer and mode selector setting should be at low heat or hight this is applicable for manual unit.
If it is a remote control just set the remote to heat mode.
