Question about Mitsubishi WD-52327 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Dull almost Foggy picture.

I have a Rear Projection Mitsubishi 62 inch TV and was given a matching 62 inch Rear Projection TV. They are both 3 years old ( bought the same month) and I put them side by side and noticed mine has a duller, foggier picture. I ordered a new lamp and replaced it and it hasn't helped. I have the settings set the same and tried increasing the brightness and contrast and it doesn't look any better. Any suggestion? They are identical TV's.

You need to take the screws out from around the screen in the back, on edges, go to the front and take the screws out from the bottom of the screen, should be 4 or 6 in the front, pick up on the screen and lift off, only about 8 pounds, now clean the little mirror in front of the projector, and clean the dust off the projector lence, that will solve it, iv had to do this on about 50 of thease tv's

no
plasma tv units consume considerable power and the latest led units don't so for the extra cost of a new unit , there will be a power saving over the years

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

I have sound but no picture on my tv

This is a popular question. Most of the time you either need to make sure all connections are not loose or just need to turn off your tv and receiver and unplug. Wait for 1 minute then reboot.
I recommend this short video as it walks you through some diagnostics for other possible problems.

Veon tv manual

The eject button on the remote appears as an upward-pointing arrow with an underline - see below image. The eject button on the TV has a similar symbol.

However, I suspect that in your case, you might not be having a Remote.

This link says that your TV doesn't come with a Remote and DVD cannot be ejected without the remote :

How could I connect a Daewoo 42sm TV?, I can't afford cable so I use a converter box(analog to digital w/rabbit antenna)on my other TV and I was given this Daewoo TV and would like to watch it;please

If your converter box only has RF outpit connectors "F" type screw on it looks like this my be more of a monitor then tv.I took a quick look at the manual and didn't see any RF inputs so it appears it doesn't have tuners built in Looks like you'll need a box that has RCA output connectors.or others that will match what the monitor has on it for input types

Samsung TV Displaying Dual Images. It appears as 2 of the same images offset from each other. There are also some lines in the images. Talked to samsung and they wanted to send a tech but I simply can't...

Overlapping video signals are generally adjustments made when turning various pots on the rear circuit board. You may need the service manual to follow the directions on how to reset and stabilize the picture. If you cannot be your own technician; you have no choice or other options.

My tv has gone some orange colour

Try unplugging your tv and anything connected to it - you might want to take a picture first so you have a reference. I would also unplug everything connected to the tv: cable, stereo, etc. Wait a few minutes, then plug in and re-connect everything.

You can also go into your TV's setup menu and adjust the picture settings - try restoring the default settings first.
