There are no known process's to work around a SIM lock, and without having the phone here it can't be found using cell phone unlocking tools. You will have to bring it to a nearby Verizon dealer...and verify that it is your phone, so they can unlock it.

Not happening ... Verizon phones run on a CDMA network. Cingular and T Mobile run on GSM ... Sprint although runs on CDMA .. last i heard were making most of their phones hybrid (CDMSA and iDEN ) and verizon phones can in no way shape or form be made a hybrid phone... specially not an LG phone.
Also, with verizon phones, there's nothing to unlock .. they are ESN bound phones meaning only the service provider can say YES or NO weather they'll use it on their network or not. There's no CIM cards
