This motherboard came in a machines
and I'traying to change for another because the older don't boot up
Thank you
emachines and Packard bell and gateway are owned not by Acer.com
the ECs is the maker of the mobo under contract to Emachines.
google finds the manual 1000 time if you just learn to google.
the coin cell is dead, and must be replaced first
that mobo used in all machines, acer made, (emachines, packard bell and gateway, 4 brands all owned by acer.
what matters is find the manual learn go google I see them.
no emachine model told by you, why?
all are here.
https://www.emachines.com/ec/en/US/conte...
usa site , are you USA? not told
and they are not all the same.
ET-1831???
is there in the above link,
under desktop , et series sure is
the manual is here
https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles...
the lost manual shows
supports up to 4 GB of system memory with Single Channel DDR2 667/533 (Over spec up to 800*)
google finds old manuals maker lost and states that.
but there are 7 model version if this mobo, and not told that.
the acer manuals stink ,the all do, lacks tones of information
qvl , cpu, list
memory QVL list.
the 65page manual is better but no F_panel jack pins told, just the name. that.
it will run core 2 QUAD and Pentium D but which intel p;n allowed is not told
learn to buy from ASUS, mobo, they tell ALL THAT.
Thank you very much "Anonymous" you.really are an expert in this emachine
Issue!
Here you can find the manual for the ET1831-01
rob , hello hyjacker rob, here is your answer.
no goal stated. but glad to try.
no emachine model told just 1 photo. old'
but is EMachines ET-1831 ? right,? 2007
14 years old Core2 worse Nforce junk
610i (MCP73V) pure junk zero support now AMD.
they made 7 versions of this PC. above is v0
emachine is acer.com now OWNED.
gee:factor:
no boot is bad coin cell first.
then bad hdd.
and corrupted OS. or bad PSU. (fans dead?)
rob if case is ATX or micro atx. MATX(yes)
any board will work there , non OEM .
means use likes of Asus, mobo or Gigabyte
H55 up.
the not list:
not dell, or HP, or acer, or lenovo or other OEMs they do not spec, connectors, on OEM .
the trouble is only 1, (mobo buy)
is that emachines do not spec that case.
but i did count screws and is MATX case.
but using ruler can , by using the ATX spec drawing.
seen here.
ROB what OS do you want to run? not told
and matters first, if a future or NOW matters.
want w10, want 64bit/
2010 mobo and newer works i3 gen2 up. not below.
https://pcdied.com/standards/standards.h...
your old mobo is MATX has R and S screws !
so why run relic mobo that will not run w10.?
if the case is MATX (micro atx)
here is mobo with intel gen2 cpu, if old is what you want.
h55 is the first chipset allowed oldest for w10
ok?
https://www.amazon.com/Socket-Intel-Moth...
way overpriced there
H55 searches. 2010 chipsets up are best.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4...
h55 up
that be chip set 5 series up for mATX cases.
no goal stated but on BOOTS.
well boots what
PC have a usage, not told. matters huge.
but that is my best answer.
w10 goal.
the old card is junk,. pure.
asus manuals show all pin outs, no secrets
unlike nasty OEMs and their games.
the manuals are free to find and read.
asus.com
the answer is how to reUSE just the case.
if not shy, the power button can be wired to the new mobo. (snip snip solder)
no need ever again on earth to use a mobo
with nasty now lame, NFORCE 610s ever
amd killed Nforce long ago.
unless you have 2007 OS install disks
for virus magnet XP, do you, ?
no goal of any OS told .
or if a goal of PC, server or NAS duties.
no clues of goal. at all.
but this board you have is in my attic.
with worse chips, like VIA, or SIS.
all are junk, if in the hood they are free .
I never sell junk it is free.
last drive is here for nforce
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverRe...
2009 date stamped driver, no w8 , no w10 ever
buy only new mobo with the shield, mATX.
i google the manual and see if endless times.
even now.
your google on vacation?

Hello this mainboard has been used by HP/COMPAQ
and PACKHARD BELL.
The support for downloading a manual (Or driver) is not at the mainboards home site.
But at the manufacture of the pc`s site.
This manual should match your mainboard:
http://download.ecsusa.com/dlfileecs/manual/mb/eng/p4/GF7050VT-M5V1.0/6_GF7050VT-M5%20V1.0A-LOW.pdf
You need adobe reader to read the content.
The HP site:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/siteHome?cc=us&destPage=siteHome&lc=en&tmp_docname=
Enter the full model number or sku number.
The number is placed somewhere on the machine.
And seach for a user manual.
If it is a packhard bell:
http://www.packardbell.co.uk/pb/en/GB/content/download
Seach by model and number.
The total ram memory capacity is 4 GB.
And this motherboard has an LGA775 cpu socket
Hope this will help you
all that is dead now, 8 years latter
nor is nforce any good now.
