Question about Toshiba TEC B-472 Thermal Label Printer

Rewind Full but no labels bunched up

I keep getting the Rewind Full error, though i don't have any labels bunched up and the sensors are all clear from paper. I can't make it clear and restart. The spool thing, from what i can tell, is empty and there is nothing blocking it. I have had this error once before, and I dumped the memory. It won't dump the memory right now, i can't make it. Which buttons do you hold when you turn it on? How do i just get rid of the error and print my labels. Please help me with what ever you can.

There is either is misalignement of the sensors or one of them is out of order. If you still have problems just unplug the big Green cable on the rewinder board. Switch off and on should do the trick

Keep getting a check supply error

Slide out the Media Sensor (green plastic bar that sticks out over the labels) about 1 inch from all the way in ("in" = left if looking from front). Then press Feed to clear errors. If still get same error, then look for piece of label or ribbon stuck in that error - ok to blow out with canned air.

Continually getting a "Paper Jam" error. Paper

we had this issue

Clean the pathway/rollers/sensors included with IPA..should solve it..try changing the ribbon too.
There must be some paper piece or oozing of adhesive...or the paper width might be holding the unwinding.

Zebra LP 2844 doesn't feed label all the way out for tearing off. When I print a label everything prints fine, however the last 1/4" or so is still left in the printer. Technically, it's like the printer...

Hi Brian,
When the last label printed is still under the printhead, that means the printer is in "rewind mode". There should be an option for "tear off" mode in the printer driver. This is the mode that pushes the last label printed out to the tear bar. The printer will then "backfeed" when printing the next label. Peel off mode is used if you want to print a label and have it "peeled" off the liner so that you can just pick up the label off the liner and apply it. That takes the rewind option to be installed.
Watch out though, if you are using a label software package, there might be a setting in the label format setup for "tear off" which usually overrides the settings in the printer.

Hope that helps !

Zebra 105SE label material will not retract in prep for next Lab

The platen is the driving force for the label. the main drive belt runs all functions in the printer.
Is the back feed turn on in the printer? Check the setup.

Also if the print driver is set(doc/properties settings on print depending on software) to use pirnter settings, and the back feed is turned off in the printer, it will not backfeed.

You lost the sensor calibrations. Grab the service manual. Do the four fault clear, enable tech access mode and calibrate paper motion, paper out and platen.
