Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Depending on the model of the psp you will most likly have to replace the UMD reader (laser). Depending on your experiance with electronics you can buy UMD drives off of ebay. just do a search for "sony psp laser replacement" However this is not for the faint of heart. It takes some experience with tinkering with electronics and is very easy to break it. Plus you also have to get the right laser for your psp model. The other solutions is to send it off to sony to have them replace the UMD drive. The last resort is if its an older psp you can sell it on ebay as broken as is and alot of people are buying them broken. prices range from $45-$100.00 for your broken one. another option is you can send it off to someone like me who can replace the umd drive for you for as little as 50.00 plus the cost of the laser. Hope this helps
