Most will connect with either a USB port or by Bluetooth. If you have USB ports, just plug them in. Not all tablets have them though. In this case your best bet is to use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard if your device supports Bluetooth. To do this you usually have to make sure your device has Bluetooth enables then search for devices. Sometimes it will ask for a pass key which should be in the docs from the mouse and keyboard.
Hold on... are you sure that you have a bluetooth mouse or do you have a wireless mouse with "pen drive" like dongle? If it is with a dongle, it probably is a common wireless mouse which operates on its own wireless frequecy. You may have a driver CD that comes with the mouse or it simply works "plug and play". However, there are bluetooth mouse too, in this case you just need to turn on your bluetooth on the PC and pair the mouse with your PC just like any other bluetooth device. In either case, a LAN card in not involved. Hope this helps.
Actually Acer use the same laptop case for some of their models, so the acer 4420 doesn´t have built-in bluetooth, you won´t find any driver for the bluetooth cause that reason. I have an extensa 4420-5910, have a bluetooth switch in the case but no bluetooth, if you check at Acer´s web page it say thet some models doesn´t have built-in bluetooth but the switch is in the laptop case... On the other hand, if you install an external bluetooth device, the case switch will be usefull to turn it on and off.
whe u installed you mouse, you installed it from the cd from targus..right? so there is some settings in that program that you can change so when you turn on your laptop the bluetooth seeks for bluetooth items and it will find your mouse. I know its a little bit tricky but you can fix it, find the settings, change them and you dont have to buy a new mouse.
When you turn of your laptop the cooonnection betwen the item is lost, when you turn on you laptop i asume that your bluetooth is now passive, by making it active it starts immediately search for bluetooht items.
