Try updating the software/driver from the Epson website. Under the support section look up your printer model and then download and install. If this does not work then check all cables to make sure they are tightly connected. Check to make sure that your printer is installed and selected as the default printer. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Type your problem for a solution... my lexmark is not printing or copying.

If you're not able to do a simply copy using the Copy button on the printer operator panel, please try the steps below to reset your printer:
  1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.
  2. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  3. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  4. Close the printer cover.
  5. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, re-insert the cartridges.
  7. Load some paper.
  8. Try to make a copy again using the Copy button on the printer.
  9. If copying is working fine, reconnect the printer to your computer.
  10. Before trying to send a new print job, make sure the print queue is clear. Then try to print a document from your computer.
Should you still need assistance, please leave a comment to my response and I'll get back to you. Should this resolves your problem, your rating will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Lexmark X8300. All was ok till recently. I can print out anything from the computer but can't use the copy feature. Also, all of the lights stay on - the copy light, fax light, scan light,...

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Rebrick (pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds).

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print again.

You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/eO4Y77. Select your operating system, download and execute the file.

If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Printer works then doesnt work properly

The following assumes your problem is printing to your HP Officejet Pro L7680, and that you are not copying (ie. copying a file from your computer to a flash card).

I would go down this list until it is fixed and you can print. Completing the rest of the list may help your system perform better though.

Instead of pressing the start button to print, you need to press the small ON/OFF button. The start button works to copy/scan. But to print, you will need to turn the printer on first. Once the printer is on, the computer should recognize it fine and allow you to print from your applications.

Kyocera 3900 dn, is there a way to speed it up?

1.install the latest print driver; see if the rip/spool time is long or the printing time is long. The rip time depends by your computer (!) and the print driver (disable the collate option when printing multiple copies of 1 page = on the printer you should see 1/5 spit a page then 2/5 and spit another page for 5 copies of same page. If you see processing the spit the page then processing and spit the page means your computer is sending 5 times the same page instead of sending once and ask for 5 copies !!! )
2.use network connection instead the USB.
3.expand the printer memory
4.switch the printer from PCL to KPDL or Auto when printing pdf files.

Printer keep printing same job

Check you menu on the printer to ensure that under copies it says 1. It's easy to hit the keys when in the menu under copies one key minus and you now have 999.

Check the default number of copies at the print driver side (when you hit "file print") to make sure it says 1 also.

Hope that helps you.

Make sure the drivers have been loaded properly by uninstalling them and completely installing them again restarting the computer and printer several times.
