Question about HP Compaq nx6110 PC Laptop
THE SCREENS IN LAPTOPS ARE ACTUALLY SEVERAL LAYERS, THEY USUALLY ARENT REPAIRED. YOU CAN HAVE THEM RESURFACED IF THEY ARE SCRATCHED OR NICKED BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A CRACK IT IS CHEAPER TO EITHER BUY A PIECE OF GLASS AND REPLACE IT YOURSELF, THE NX6OOO'S I THINK HAVE A 15" SCREEN IN THEM, MIGHT BE A 15.4" EITHER WAY YOU CAN USUALLY FIND EITHER A USED PIECE OF NEW PIECE ON EBAY PRETTY CHEAP, ITS NOT THAT HARD TO CHANGE THE GLASS SO LONG AS YOU KEEP ALL THE SCREWS YOU TOOK OUT :O) I WORK FOR A COMPUTER PARTS DISTRIBUTOR AND KNOW FIRST HAND HOW TO TAKE THEM APART AND PUT THEM BACK TOGETHER. I WOULD SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY DOING IT YOURSELF AND BUYING JUST THE PANEL OF GLASS. ONCE YOU TAKE THE DISPLAY APART THERE ARE NUMBERS ON THE BACK OF THE PANEL ITSELF THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE EXACT "OEM NUMBER" TO ORDER BY. I CAN HELP YOU WITH THIS IF NEED BE AS WELL YOU CAN EMAIL ME AT KUSTUMSPEED@AOL.COM
