Get a hard plastic wedge shaped device. At top rear of window try to insert tip of wedge, banging on thick end with hand if needed( might need a second pair of hands to help, have them grab and pull out on this area before placing wedge in). Keep inserting it till door is pried open at least 1/2 inch, don't be scared door or window wont break. Get wire style coat hanger straighten it out put a small j shaped hook at the end you insert between weather proofing rubber and go fishing for door lock swicth. Good Luck!!!

Factory Code was on a plastic card when new

To get that ,you need to give a dealer your Vin #
& proof of ownership.

I don't know if you can over ride your code with the
factory code

I have changed codes ,but not tried to enter the factory
one over mine

You vehicle comes with 2 keys & a valet key & you should have
a 3rd key bought & you program it.

What about the remote KeyFOB You should have 2 of those
to open the door

No reason to only have one key

Also the ignition is programmed for 2 keys or
it won't start

I have an 02 mercury mountaineer that I bought at a used car lot. no one knows the code and I've locked my keys in it. How do I unlock my car if I dont have the lock code?

its not something i would put up on the web as any one would be able to unlock any vehicle. all will say is boot.....and replace after. also you can have your remote read to get the code from it from most key cutting shops for a small price.

You MIGHT be able to call dealer and provide your VIN# and dealer can get you new keys or info for overide code. They don't normally give out code but in extreme cases, they've been known to (they'll never admit that publicly)

I lost the keys to my 96 windstar. I can't seem to get the ignition out. I pushed the pin on the bottom but no luck. The locksmith wants $150 to make a new key. Can I drill the pin out?

if you drill the pin out, the ign lock is ruined. A key must be in the lock to remove it. take a lock out of a door and have the locksmith cut a key for it. On some cars the passenger door lock will have the key code on it, but I dont know about your car.

Lost the only key I had for vehicle

Is the car locked? If not remove the glove box lock or a door lock and take it to a locksmith to make a key for you.

97 Olds Aurora We have a coded key-but we got the tumbler from Oreilly's. New key has alreadt been coded. And it is a clean key what to do know won't go past three minutes to reset security.

That means it is passkey. There are 15 different resistance values that could be used to run your car. Do you have the original key that started your car with the old lock cylinder. If so take that key to a lock and key shop and the new key, the locksmith can measure the resistance of your old key, get the right key blank, then cut that key the same as the one that fits your new lock. Then you should be good to go. If you don't have the original key, it is alot harder. Let me know. I can tell you how to fix that too.
