SOURCE: Space bar, left-side enter key and backspace do not respond.

Try buying a can of compressed air and cleaning around those areas if you have spilled liquid on them ,that could be the prob as well

Enter, backspace, delete, shift keys not working in sony vaio E series backlit keyboard with BIOS version R0170E5

At all? anything caught underneth them? Unsnapping keys is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Give that a try. if it's still not working check your device manager to be sure.

BACKSPACE KEY, ENTER KEY, NOT WORKING!

Its possible they are faulty. Do you have an external keyboard you can use/borrow to see if they work?

Hello, ive been having a small problem with my keyboard my backspace key has popped out once again and im not sure how to put it back on, ihave a dell inspiron 1545 its only 3 months old the key isnt...

The Backspace key usually clips on . But since it keeps happening , the clip part must be broken. Since it is only 3 mths old, it is still under warranty, you can take it to a local Dell authorized shop or call Dell support, they will probably send someone out to fix it / or send you the whole keyboard which is easy to replace.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Happy Holidays!

Thanks, Joe

I cannot use my g and h or backspace button's

The 1st reason may be:
-You may need to update the driver software of the keyboard. Try entering the following URL:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/prodTopCategory?product=96120&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us

Then select your product, then look for a keyboard driver. Download it and install it.

And the 2nd one reason, may be:
-The keyboard keys may be broken, and doesn't work.

If the first step doesn't work, try buying an external mini keyboard, that can be found in any PC Service shop, and it also have a low-cost.

GOOD LUCK :)

Changing the Cursor Appearance

I had this same problem on my TI 89... You must have accidentally set your calculator to insert mode. To switch it back to the thin cursor, input the following keystrokes... Go to the "2nd" key to enter second function mode. Then press the button with an arrow on it pointing to the left(The key that you use to backspace). Do you see the "INS" lettering above the backspace key? There's your solution :-)

N, H, T and Backspace keys suddenly not working.

You can try blowing it out with compressed air, but you will probably need to remove the keyboard to make sure nothing was spilled or stuck in there. You should be able to remove the keyboard by removing the battery, then removing the keyboard securing strip, and then you should be able to take a screwdriver and pry the keyboard up and out.
