I believe if you program it in the radio, the remote will also choose that station. Put the tuner on the station, press and hold the number on the radio where you want that station to reside, wait for the double beep, and then try your remote

I got a Bose wave remote but there's no instruction how to program it to the radio or how to open it for the battery and what kind ot battery it takesn

For programming the radio station settings, hold down a numbered button on the remote for several seconds after you have tuned to the desired station. For setting the time or alarm, use a similar approach, hold the individual button down long enough for the radio to change mode to setting mode. When you are done making a setting, you can wait a few moments and the radio will then return to its regular operating mode. As for the battery, there is a small sliding door on the bottom of the remote that contains a small replaceable disc battery, be sure to get the polarity right.

Where can I get a new remote sensor, mine has broken.

Hello
Remote sensors can be bought from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town. It will have a specific number printed on its body [normally on side]; and it should be noted when buying a new one. Buy the same size, otherwise it can be accomodated at the space which old one was fitted. Remote sensors, whichever type be, will be very cheap to buy. OK.

I have a Bose Wave remote. Battery was replaced with the CR2032 and placed on plastic bracket and slide back into remote control. There appears to be no signal/power to Bose Wave unit. The battery is...

Remotes only allow you to avoid walking across the room to touch the unit for certain functions - like POWER. They don't actually enable or disable its ability to turn on if power is available. Walk over and touch the power control. If it turns on the remote is still malfunctioning.

Read this procedure to possibly fix the remote:
http://remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Display&contents=help_deadremote&uuid=A12963989782821
They also sell replacement remotes.

Zoom in on the picture of the original remote provided on the site (or look at your own) and get the actual remote model number.

or check eBay: search for "(model of the device or the remote) remotes", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

I have a problem with time display on my Bose CD/Clock Radio.

I found the answer on the Bose website in the manual for the radio. While the radio is on, hold down Alarm Setup and preset 1 at the same time. That will set it so the clock displays. If you do the same thing but hold down preset button 2, that will display the radio info all the time.

Bose Wave radio

Use the tune arrow buttons on the remote - left arrow tunes down; right arrow tunes up.

Once you have the right frequency for the station you want to preset, press and hold the number button that you want to store it under for around 5 seconds

Remote

Tune the radio to the station you want using the up and down tuning indicators then select a button on the remote for that station and mash it for several seconds and that button should be set for that frequency.  You might have to do the selection on the radio itself instead of just using the remote but once the buttons are assigned they will work with the remote.

Right clock time

Hold the memory button on the remote control, wait for the written "SYNC ON" on display and then press the track forward (one on the right with the double arrow).

Now normally set the clock.

Remote Weather Station shows "HHH"

This means that the read is over the HIGH limit of the sensor, perhaps is too hot there. Change it to another location. josemaX
