If you already replaced the battery with new one and fully charged then the problem is in the system try to reset .There is a reset switch but you need to use an opened out paper clip to press the switch which is located next to the connections underneath the unit. The switch is tiny, about the size of the end of an opened out paper clip. Switch the unit off, just press the reset button once and then reconnect/switch on, and the GPS will revert to its starting routine. Hope it may help you; Regards; VOTIT
As if the batteries go weak internally still charging the batteries does not help.just have to replace the batteries in such cases to make it work. hope this helps.
Check the batteries are installed correctly.
You must press and hold the power button for two seconds.
Idf it shuts down exactly after one minute, then it is an internal fault, a battery problem is unlikey.
Ensure that the battery are alkaline and fully charged, also check for oxide or dirt that can cause contacts in the battery slot.
the unit must be taken apart and inspected by a technician.
Disconnect the transducer the unit will start up.
Also try master reset .
