Yes, the motor seems to be spinning backwards - it is spinning counter-clockwise. Is there a solution? Thanks!

My Rainbow is doing the same thing - blowing out air instead of sucking. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?

not sucking. it is pushing air out instead, and a little water

Sounds like the hose is hooked up to the exhaust instead of the intake. Its tough to get it mixed up when using the power nozzle because the power cord adaptor is located above the intake port.

Did you try to put the wet hose on the INTAKE instead of the exhaust?
