You either need drivers for your Ethernet and/or wireless card.
 
Or you just didn’t plug in the Ethernet cable or you are not connected to any wireless access points.

Sounds like Ultrasurf is resetting your proxy settings every time you reboot. Completely uninstall Ultrasurf, using their recommended procedures.

open internet explorer click on tools then goto internet options
then click the advanced tab go down to the reset button and reset internet explorer to the defaults.
then after that is completed close internet explorer and reopen internet explorer and see if the web page comes up.

I have a acer aspire 5570Z, unable to connect online...


Open network connections and disable your wireless connection (right click) then renable it and try to connect. What program are you using to manage your wireless connection?
If you are using your manufaturers software then try using windows xp (or vice versa)

in this case first you need to check the ip address by goin on start- run - type cmd -- then type ipconfig , if its giving you a valid ip address then try to access internet and select the option that says automatically detect settings and you will find that option under -- open internet explorer then go to tools- internet option- connections - lan settings
and
if you are not getting any ip address then do a right click on my compuetr icon on your desktop adn go to properties-- hardware- device manager-- network adaptors - and uninstall all the adaptors and then do a right click on network adaptors and then scan for hardware changes .

and the third option is to uninstall Internet explorer 8 adn try with IE 6

its a laptop they usually stink /w internet, but stay near or hardwired to your modem or wifi module or you can get a d-link laptop/desktop internet connector to improve your internet. oh, and sometimes internet explorer and firefox cancel each other out.

Problem with installing applications like skype, yahoo messenger etc..


Hi there, You may find the answer within internet explorer properties.
If you "right click" the internet explorer you will see properties at the bottom of the box that pops up.
Click on tab security, then make sure that the slider is on medium high, if not, drag down to medium high.
Then click on button "custom level" then scroll down to downloads and ensure that "file downloads enable" has a green dot next to it. You can enable by clicking on the clear dot.
Once this is done you click on OK then the next screen APPLY and OK
This should solve your problem, Good luck, Chris

hi im wesley. ok having vista can be trouble sometimes but it shouldnt be the cause of your problem waz your internet explorer working before with it if so try downloading the latest version of it or re-installing the problem it might of just been a problem that has been corrupt.

I would recommend you to back all your work up, then with the use of the restore cds, re-build your laptop. Then see if you get the same problem. If you do, then you need to send the laptop back
