I need to program my tv and turn it to channel 3 in order to hook up the cable. How do I program it without a remote? There isn't a menu button on the tv. Please Help!!!!

the remote no longer works and when i put the tv on it just says line. the vcr no longer works. how do i get it to change cannels when it won't change when i push the tv buttons? i've tried everything.

You'll need to get a universal remote if not the original... The original can be purchased from places like anyremote.com and a good universal from Radio Shack... I'd strongly recommend getting the original because some features are ONLY accessible through the original remote.

you did not mentioned the model & brand any way you can go to menue by holding 2 buttons combination in front panel. after that you can scroll to cable mode you good to search.
