8 GB USB PEN Drive error

I have a 8 GB transcend pendrive ,was working properly till yesterday
evening , now when I connect it to the USB port it blinks for few
secons and then stops

I have never removed it without the option of Safetly remove hardware
and in case it was not possible , I have preferred shutting doen the
PC and then remove it

My computer shows it as a Removable disk with 0 bytes ,
On cliclking it a dialog box appears asking to insert drive

Tried everthing from data recovery softwares to partition magic ,
nothing detects it

I have a lot of data on it

Please help sort out the same
