Yes, it is Windows 7 compatible. You can find the drivers for the printer at the link below. Just download and install the driver for your computer and the printer should be installed. If it doesn't install that way open up control panel, go to devices and printers, go to add a printer, choose local printer, use the default port and click next, choose have disk and select the drivers that you just installed, then just click next through the rest of the wizard. Just make sure you can print a test page.

all you need to do is select your operating system.

you need a 2.0 usb cable which is apparently (oddly) not included. usually you would install the driver and sofware then part of the installation would ask you to connect the printer to the computer. don't connect the computer before installing the sofware or it may not work at all.

now if you don't have the cd you should be able to go into the canon website, search for mp370 all in one devices and you should be able to download the sofware/drivers according to the operating system on the computer where you will be installing the driver.

After you opened the front panel, did you lift the scanner section? The scanner section has a switch on it that activates the ink tank holders to come out to the middle so they can be changed. It is not the greatest design and it doesn't stay up by itself. I normally use an old cartridge to prop up the scanner section while I change cartridges. Hope this helps!

See this link. Microsoft acknowledges that Vista may keep some scanners from working (especially since, in your case, the printer is working). They have made a hotfix available for this issue, but based on the dates, I'm pretty sure this hotfix was incorporated into Service Pack 1. If you don't have SP1, you may want to try downloading and installing it.

Visit already comes with drivers for the MP370 installed so just plug in your printer and go to contraol panel then printers and your image class mp370 shuld be there and you then set that as a default printer.
