Question about Car Audio & Video
L've had a panasonic car stereo CQ-RX400N/CQ-RX300N l'm having real problems with this, l turn the stereo on to recieve radio l'm listerning to then the front flashes up different items how can l stop this from happening, also when i've my ipod on instead of seeing the name & so on the items keep flashing up, please can someone help.yours rachel, nuneaton.
Make and model of the car? It's rather simple. Many German and French cars have the permanent and the accessories power cables switched.Switch them back from the stereo's connector's cables.(The red to yellow and the yellow to red).First it would be a good idea to check that out with a voltmeter.

You have to turn off the "DEMO" mode on your Panasonic radio. Check your owner manual for more detail. By default the radio run in "DEMO" mode when you use it for the first time!

Wiring color codes are different for different makes and models. Go here and select your vehicle for the color code: www.modifiedlife.com
The best way is to purchase a vehicle specific wiring harness that plugs directly into your car wiring. Splice the wires from the harness that came with your new Panasonic to the vehicle specific harness and plug them in.
Here's an example of such a harness made by Scosche. This one fits 2002 and newer Chrysler/Jeep vehicles. There's a harness for most all vehicles. Local car audio shops, Best Buy, and even WalMart sell such harnesses.
Hope this helps.
