how do you have the audio hooked up for it if you are using componet cable (red, white) for sound they could be causing the humming you can either switch audio cables or use some other form of cable for sound
Connect the RTS-HE10 via HDMI to the TV and the Sky+ via scart to the TV. Then
get a stereo RCA to 3.5mm jack lead and connect from your TV's stereo
RCA output (red/white) to the Aux 3.5mm jack (like a headphone socket)
on the RTS-HE10. Select Aux on the RTS-HE10 when you want to listen to whatever
is on the TV.
anytime you connect componet signal (green red and blue)to regular video inputs (yellow) end will have same effect. make sure that if you are using component signal from DVD player you have to connected to component input in the set. component signal will use green red and blue for video and red and white for sound. Composite signal will be yellow (video)
red and white(audio)
couple of ways but the easiest way would be connecting the video and audio out from DVD need rca connections yellow red and white) Yellow --- Video white and red is audio out left and right. find in your tv set inputs with similar colors its going to be input 1 or input 2 (as an example) once you conect the cable matching colors yellow to yellow red to red and white to white make sure you select the same input on your set (video 1 or 2) that its throu input selection in remote control from tv or set itself.
