Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Basically i had my PS3 connected to a HD t.v. but i need to switch the settings to a SD tv. I've heard that by holding down on the power button for a few seconds it should reset the video output.
But what i was wondering if it's like a factory reset won't that also delete all of the things stored on the meory? Such as gamesaves, music etc?
I hadn't heard of this way to reset the video, but you shouldn't have that problem. Resetting things won't wipe your HDD unless you go into the menu and tell it to format your HDD. An easier way might be to change to the video cable that came with your PS3, which is a composite cable. The system won't output HD through that cable, so you can hook it up that way and then go into your video options to change the settings. Good luck!
