Getting battery cover off a nokia 6500

Using your thumbs, trying sliding the back cover toward the top of your handset. The back cover should release from hinges and you can use your fingers, nails or small tool to lift the battery cover off. With this device specifically, the thumb feature is needed.

Hope this helps!

Lost Nokia 6500 slide phone

Call your phone company and tell them to disable your phone from making any phone calls. So, in other words, temporarily suspend service with that mobile device. When you can, buy a new phone and then have them activate it and you should be good to go after that.

My phone says error in connection

if it does it all the time, then you have a problem with the internal antenna or RF section of the phone.

if its occasional, then its normal, cuz when the network is busy and specially with crapy service providers where they have limited simultanious calls, then this error will occor more frequently.
