This link is broken, and Canon does not release the service manual for their cameras. You can maybe find it if you do some Google searching or maybe eBay.

Lens won't move stuck halfway out

looks like the lens assembly servo mechanism is malfunctioning.
try to push the lens in manually-push down gently until in and power the camera after. If that does not help you will probably need to change the lens assembly (it should be done by a proffessional)

I have a fuji finepix s7500 and zoom error. I dont have warranty so I tried to fix myself. I actually found the problem with the zoom. now I am trying to put it back together and I cant figure out where...

The trick is remembering how you dis-assembled so you can re-assemble.
Purchase or borrow another camera and photograph each step.
Buy a plastic tray with little compartments in and start at 1 end and then work back when assembling.
service manuals from "Flying Dutchmen Plaza" on ebay will show you how to fix

Undo the six M2 screws that hold the left housing assemble (control panel for flash & focus etc) and remove You will see that there are 3 srews that hold the hinge assembly together all 3 wiil be loose and require tightening (you will neeed to tilt the lens up to see and tighten the third screw.

Reassemble the housing making sure not to trap thw flexible cable

How to Fix the lense E18

If you are technically compitent, then its simple. Open the camera and remove the optical assembly. furthur carefully open the lense assembly apart. Remove the motor and the gear assembly so that you can move the barrels manually. carefully check for any friction in the movement. If its moving hard, take every barrel apart, clean them with some hard brush, refit the assembly. Now check the focus motor.normally fine sand or dust get accumulated on the grease at the shaft of the focus motor. clean it check for any damage the the flex ribbion cable of the lense assembly. If you can do all this carefully then reconnect the optic unit to the main board, fit it , switch it on and you will find it working.

I need to replace the LCD on a Lumix DMC L1. Can you help?

You would have to order the part from Panasonic. You will need to also order the service manual for details about the process to change it. The ribbon cable, may also have to be changed. With some models of cameras, the ribbon cable is ordered separately.

As for unassembly and re-assembly, this is too involved to explain in emails. You should order the service manual for the details. If there are other parts required, you will need the part numbers from in the manual.

As for parts availability, many of the companies will not sell the parts or service manuals to non contracted servicers. This you would have to enquire about with Panasonic about their camera products.

I'm sorry but this is a serious problem. The lens assembly is proabably busted. If you plan to take the camera to a service center be shure you ask the people there for a price estimate over the repair, before they actually do something to the camera. This repair can cost $70-100 or even more. In most cases the lens assembly can't be repaired and needs to be changed.
