I purchased Laptop Latest version septemper2012 at Chennai IT DEPOT t Chennai. cost Rs.44,990/- vise Bill no20026132 dated 17/9/2012. Now the problem is laptop is not working technical person says having crash problem and need repair cost Rs. 12,000/- i.e $ 300/- (Singapore) Is it necessary for invest this amount t for purchase of the product within three months.. please clarify.

It should be located somewhere on the motherboard wich means pulling the computer completely apart which unless you know what you are doing may be a little difficult for some, but not inpossible.

Hello,
Try connecting the drive to another pc with a usb adapter, create a partition and format it. Then put the drive back in the vaio and reinstall windows. This should fix the problem.

If the computer is not booting to safe mode, please restart the computer and press and hold the F10 key. On that screen, you will see an option "System Restore". If computer is not booting to safe mode, you can try the above steps to perform a system restore.
If nothing works, perform a system recovery by pressing the F10 key and then selecting the option "Restore C Drive".
