Well, personally I would say it is not worth fixing. The typical life span on flat panel TV's is about 5 to 7 years. Your set is close to the end of it's life cycle. Secondly, most experts recommend replacing your set if the cost of repair exceeds half of the cost to replace the set. By the time you pay the diagnosis fee, part cost, and labor cost, I think you will see what I'm talking about.

Before you attempt any repairs, it is necessary to make a test. The results of this test will determine which part may need replacing. Please follow the directions.
In short, you will be doing the following:
Perform Memory Initialization. NOTE: You must write down some data values before performing initialize. (See Below for Procedure).
Check this status of the picture. (See Status after Initialization)
The status will determine what part need replacement.
BE SURE TO COPY DOWN DATA SETTINGS BEFORE INITIALIZING I2C SETTINGS: (See Below)
Select a non-used or blank Video input or tuner to get into I2C menu, also make sure the Power LED on the Front of the set is not blinking at all.
Enter the I2C Service Menu, be sure the power is OFF.
On the front control panel, press and hold the INPUT button.
Then press the POWER button for two seconds.
You may keep the INPUT button depressed until you see the OSD with the Service Menu displayed.
If you don't see the service menu, please repeat Process making sure you wait until the Power blinking LED stops.
(02) COPY DOWN THESE SETTINGS: IMPORTANT: The following are Service Adjustments. These Data Values are lost when Memory Initialization is preformed. It's important to write the values down before proceeding.
