Problem with my hard disk

Hello people, i,m kevin from almelo (HOLLAND) my english is not so very good but i try to explain my problem i had a harddisk in my pc DIAMONDMAX PLUS 45 model: 52049H3 because this drive is small (20,4 GB) i had inserted a 80GB drive, but on the maxtor 20,4 drive i had files saved, now is my problem: when i start the pc he know's my drive but in windows i can't see my drive in this computer. someone any idea of this problem i have all jumper settings tryd but with no result i love to hear from you bye you can always mail me [email protected]

What is the operating System ? (98, 2000, XP ) Are both harddisk Installed? If yes , which of the two has operating system? Is the 80 GB new, pre formatted, or un formatted?

Hi Kevin...you can install a free software like cc cleaner and run to remove cookies and temp files on ur PC
->perform a defrag of the Hard disk
->you can increase virtual memory
->you can disable some unwanted programs at startup
->can do a registry cleanup if it works well and good if not

Have you checked the watersupply? the "place where the water leaves the machine? (sorry about my English) the electricity? And checked that no pipes or rubber hoses are clogged?

To free some space on your hard disk, you may un-install some un-used applications from your computer. or you may install this software to another location like drive d or drive e if you may have.

Take it to a tech, to repair the hard drive parts. Am sure something is broken inside take it to a computer shop or something. Nothing will happen to the data on the disk it just need service just like a car when it brakes down neds service.

Acer aspire 2930 disk read error.
Hello,

the disk error has to do with your hard disk. The operating system on the drive is corrupt and needs to be reinstalled.

Get the operating system CD that came with your computer and use it to run the installation. By so doing, the problem will be solved.

Hello,

Yes this is definitely a hard disk drive problem. If you have previously done a backup of your system when it still worked, you could try to format the hard drive and attempt a new installation, after removing all partitions. But replacing the drive could solve the issue once and for all.

Starting problem
As a test,please remove the air filter.
Make a short test ran and see is the starting is easier.
The accleration should be improve.

Check the dealer for oil and non-oil type air filter for your scooter.
Try a NON-OIL type.
It should improve starting and accleration because of less air restruction.

Please let me know is there any improvement on the no filter test ran,

Cannot acess hard disk partitions?
Hi, I hope you are using Windows XP and you have partitioned the disk properly.
Goto Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management> Disk Management
Now you should see all the disks and partitions in each disk and partition names of each partition. Right click the parition and you get all options to do.
Note: Be careful not to mess with C:  partition. Try to stay away from it.
