Question about Symantec Norton Ghost 9.0 for PC
I had Ghost 9.0 set up to backup 2 laptops to the desktop. The desktop had to be wiped and reloaded which was done by the techs at CDO. I had to reload Ghost on my PC and now I'm trying to set up a backup job. I get to the screen that says"to access a network connection, the connection must be made as a user with permission." I have tried to put in the userID and password that I used before and wrote down on the Ghost packaging, but that isn't working. I vaguely remember setting a user name and password on the desktop when I set up sharing on the folders, but can't remember how I got there to do that. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
>delete the backup job that you have already defined...
>try to define a new backup
>while defining the new backup maybe you can get the option to set new password
