Model dv2150 disc drawer will not open

Try using a lens cleaner. It could be that the lens is just dirty. If that doesn't work, it could indicate a problem with the optical assembly, which may result in expensive repairs.

Try the leans cleaning first. Kits are available in most stores. Should that not work, then shop around for rates from various repair shops, and if the cost doesn't warrant it, best go in for a new unit..

To get a new remote control you just go to the store you bought your dvd/vcr. They probably have some in stock, if not ask for a universal remote control.
