I have a Fuji camera with a Fuji XD picture card. For Christmas I was given a Canon ES30 printer. The manual says that an XD picture card requires an adaptor to enable it to be inserted into the printer, but doesn't say what type of adaptor. I have tried the shop it was purchased from, all manner of other, what I thought would be appropriate stores such as Jessops, Canon Head Office, one of their dealers CRC, and finally the Canon Help Line (who were extremely rude and unhelpful). None of these have been able to tell me exactly "what" adaptor I need to purchase to be able to put the card in the printer. You would restore my faith in humanity if you could solve this problem for me please.Kind regards,

The xD-Picture Card contact area is soiled
The xD-Picture Card is damaged
The xD-Picture Card format is incorrect
The manual offers the following under Remedy:
Wipe the contact area on the xD-Picture Card with a soft dry cloth. It may be
necessary to format the xD-Picture card
If the error message is still displayed. replace the xD-Picture Card.
Contact your Fujifilm dealer.
A card access error may indicate that an xD-Picture Card memory card is in a write-protected condition. xD-Picture Card memory cards have a special protection feature to ensure that your pictures are kept safe.
During this condition, you can still use the printer for printing and saving photos from the xD-Picture Card to a secure location, such as the computer hard drive.
To resolve this error, try the following:
Reinsert the xD-Picture Card memory card into your camera and turn on the camera. In most cases, the camera automatically makes the necessary changes.
Reformat the xD-Picture Card memory card. See the documentation that came with your camera for instructions on reformatting the memory card. Note that this process erases the pictures currently saved to your memory card. To save these pictures, transfer them to the computer before reformatting the memory card. Once you reformat the memory card, transfer those photos back to the memory card using the computer.
You will need to do a firmware update to be able to use your new 'M' XD card. Also you will need a AC adapter to be able to use the update for your camera.
It is a Fuji site and it works.
