You have to convert the Reealplayer videos to AVI format using Riva FLV Encoder or some other program - make sure audio is enabled in Riva. Then use the Sansa Media Converter to convert the videos.

How to download avchd files

There are a ton of HD videos available online that you can download and convert to AVCHD videos so that you can burn them to regular DVDs and play them in a compatible Blu-ray player. For example, Vimeo has a large selection of sample AVCHD content. Both AVCHD's MTS and MP4 file formats support 720p, 1080i, and 1080p video resolutions. When downloading videos you should try to capture it at the highest resolution (1080p) possible. However, that said if your video player or TV only supports 720p resolution then that's the format you should select when downloading a video.

RealPlayer Plus does not recognize MTS files. When using RealPlayer Plus to burn HD video onto a regular DVD, look for HD content in the MP4 format like the Vimeo screenshot below. If the resolution you want is only available as an MTS file, you will need to convert the MTS to the MP4 format using third-party software in order to burn an AVCHD DVD with RealPlayer Plus.

Need to download movies and music with realplayer

The new release of RealPlayer SP (for Windows) or RealPlayer 11 (for Linux or Mac systems) provides an option to download streaming movies right from the Internet.
With the RealPlayer, an additional button is added above movies embedded in web pages that allows you to download the movie with just one click.
To have this option, follow the specific instructions during the installation of RealPlayer.
After the installation is complete, you can download movies with the Real Player.

Download and install the RealPlayer SP or 11 (see Below for download links.)

Close your Internet browser if you have it up before starting the installation process.
During the installation process, choose the option to have the "Download This Video" button added as an plug-in for your Internet browsers.
Open your Internet browser and go to the website that has the streaming movie embedded.
Click above the video player or move the mouse around the embedded video area until you see the "Download This Video" button displayed in the top right-hand corner of the video player.
Click the "Download This Video" button.
Real Player then starts to download the movie.
Depending on how long the movie is and the speed of your Internet connection, it could take a long time for the video to finish downloading.
Download Music on MySpace Using Real Player

Download the latest version of RealPlayer.
Open the downloaded package, follow the instructions to complete RealPlayer installation and navigate to the MySpace profile of the band or artist whose song you want to download.

Click the song you want to download in your chosen band or artist's MySpace music player to play it.

I've been using Realplayer to download stuff onto my mp3. What video format on realplayer is compatible for this player?

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. You will need to have a player software installed like RealPlayer or QTime. When you use the USB cable to upload, just copy the files to your PICTURE folder and double click ont he video file to open it, save it, play it.

Trying to put realplayer videos on a gpx

You cannot do it directly. You have to convert the RealPlayer videos to AVI format first. Better to use the media converter program that came on the player's installation CD.
