Question about Canon Pixma iP2600 Photo InkJet Printer
Does anyone know how to reset ink levels on the iP2600?
I am looking for a reset sequence or an IP Tool to reset the EEPROM.
Just found the answer.....
You will also need RarZilla (free from the Web) to be able to unzip this download.

I have Canon Ip2600. Ink status monitor wouldn't work after inserting new compatible cartridges. Downloaded Ip tool 1.1.5. Get separate status monitor. Comes up on google search. Works well

Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
